摘要：周文翰《名士之累——苏东坡的十二个人生侧面》以十二个身份侧面对苏轼进行切片式考察，试图剥离后世叠加的“神化”与“鸡汤化”滤镜，还原其在世时的真实社会形象。该书的核心贡献在于以“诗词与史料互证”的方法，将苏轼的诗、词、赋等作为核心史料，通过对文本的细读与历史语境的还原，对其仕途评价、贬谪、诗词、生活等议题做出祛魅式解读。作者提出的“名士之累”概念，揭示了苏轼因声望而卷入皇权与党争漩涡的悖论性处境；其“观念型人物”与“体验型人物”的类型区分，则为理解苏轼与王安石的人格差异提供了有效分析框架。全书以十二个“人生侧面”的渐进式结构，从公共形象到私人领域逐层展开，在体例上具有创新性。然而，本书在“名士”概念的理论化、各章逻辑关联以及部分议题的深度上仍有可拓展空间。

Title: “Skill” and “True Character”: A Review of Zhou Wenhan’s The Burden of Eminent Scholar: Twelve Life Aspects of Su Dongpo
Abstract: Zhou Wenhan’s The Burden of Eminent Scholar: Twelve Life Aspects on Su Dongpo conducts a slice-of-life examination of Su Shi through twelve distinct personas, aiming to strip away the “mythologized” and “inspirationalized” filters imposed by later generations to reveal his authentic social image during his lifetime. The book’s core contribution lies in employing a “poetry-historical corroboration” methodology, using Su Shi’s poems, lyrics, and fu as primary historical sources. Through meticulous textual analysis and contextual reconstruction, it offers demystified interpretations of his official career evaluations, exiles, poetic works, and personal life. The author's conceptualization of “the burden of eminent scholars” exposes Su Shi’s paradoxical entanglement with imperial power and political strife due to his prestige. The distinction between “conceptualized figures” and “experiential figures” provides an effective analytical framework for understanding personality differences between Su Shi and Wang Anshi. Structured around twelve progressive life perspectives that unfold from public image to private domains, the book demonstrates innovative presentation. However, its theoretical conceptualization of the “eminent scholar” concept, logical coherence across chapters, and depth of certain topics still warrant further exploration.
